Period 2
Grandma
The person I am writing about is my
amazing Grandma. She was born on April 13 1950 at Jalisco. She was about 15 or
16 in this image. Beside her is my grandpa they have been marred for about 46
years. She has been through so many things in her life. When she was younger
she was not the kind of person that would just go out. She would stay home and
help here parents. She would help with her siblings or she would cook. When she
got older she had 14 kids. There are only 6 alive right now. She always tells
us the story how she came over here. Her with my grandpa and my aunt and uncle.
They were kids at the time so they don’t really remember any of it. She always
reminds us not to take things for granted. When she got her they went to one of
my grandpa’s sister’s house. They lived there for a while until they had money
to move they moved to a house in south central. After that one they went to the
house they have now. She earned her money by working in many jobs. She would
work in factories and as a babysitter. Even now she still helps many people she
has never denied some one the help. Now that she is older we help her with
anything she mite need. Whenever she needs us we are there for her and she is
there for us.
Where
my grandma grow up in was Jalisco what she says about it is that it is such a
beautiful place it has a lot of trees and flowers. “Jalisco is made up of a
diverse terrain that includes forests, beaches, plains and lakes. Altitudes in
the state vary from between 0 and 4,300 meters above sea level from the coast
to the top of the Nevado de Colima.”(wiki)
She says that there are many lakes over there they are really beautiful and
big. “The other main surface water is Lake Chapala, and is the
largest and most important freshwater lake in Mexico, accounting for about half
of the country’s lake surface.. The lake acts as a regulator of the flow of
both the Lerma and Santiago Rivers.”
