Keeping the Moon

  

       Sarah Dessen is a really good writer. She writes novels for young people. Her friends from high school inspire most of her stories. She’s one of the best writers in earth. If you ever want to read a book you must look up Sarah Dessen’s books.  Her books are really interesting, you wont want to stop reading them, once you open one of her books you wont want to stop reading ‘till you finish the story. One of the books that I recommend you from her is  “ Keeping the Moon”.           

       “Keeping the Moon” interesting book. It’s about s girl name colie and she only lives with her mother. She’s always alone at her house because her mother works. When her mother finds a new job she has to go live with her aunt. Colie doesn’t have friends because she’s always moving schools but when she lives with her aunt she finds new friends and she meets a guy. She never though she was going to be happy, and she never though that she was going to fall in love with someone.

          There are people that agree with me and think that Sarah Dessen is a really good writer, they also agree that her book is a really good book.  “I completely LOVED this book. It was so wonderfully funny and heart-warming... I couldn't put it down! I loved the character of Mira, Colie's Aunt, who was unique and eccentric. Colie was a wonderful character as well, with a sensitive and loving (more so towards the end) personality.  You will LOVE this book immensely! It is terrific and you will not be able to put it down for anything! Buy it!. If you loved this book as much as I did, then try Sarah Dessen's other books, That Summer, and Someone Like You” (amazon). I agree with this website, “Keepin the Moon” is the best book you could have ever read. You would not regret of reading this book.

       There are also people that don’t agree with me they think that the book “Keeping the Moon is not an interesting book and that Sarah Dessen isn’t a good writer. "Not only is this book a complete waste of time, it should simply not be published...I have NEVER seen worse from Dessen than this cliched novel about a teenage romance that is so boring, it is not even worth flipping over to the back cover...I can honestly say that I dragged myself through this seemingly endless novel about a wanna-be cinderella story...I would not recommend this book to anyone with the characters being so bland and obvious, the plot barely visible, and enough stories about fatness deriving this girl of popularity, that you have a years worth of Jenny Craig videos right in print” (Halley Cooke).  I disagree with this quote because I don’t think that the book “Keeping the Moon” is a bad book and there’s no reason that Sarah Dessen would make a book that is boring. There is no author that would waste his or her time doing a book that is boring, Sarah Dessen is a really good writer.
