Sad reality
One of the
most common issues teenage girls go through is low self-esteem. Statistics show
that this problem is more common during middle and high school, where it seems
every one worries just about how to be appealing to the opposite sex, and there
is where people start judging others, if they are too fat, skinny, tall, short,
or any other little thing they might find funny or that stands out.
Guys also
go through this kinds of abuse, but girls get more pressured and concerned
about it, like the web page The Self Esteem shop says girls with low self
esteem tend to have more behavior issues and being less social every day than
girls with high self esteem, that can lead to mental problems such as not
liking the way they look and in most cases recurring to bulimia/anorexia or
suicide tendencies (the-self-esteem-shop).
People should
really stop just looking at what is in the outside, if things could be like
that, is more than accurate that this problem would be less common, more people
would feel good about themselves, and many tragic and sad cases might even be
prevented.
