        Julio Cesar Chavez was born on July 12, 1962 

in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora Mexico. Chavez is a 

retired Mexican Professional boxer is considered 

fighter ever to come out of Mexico. He was a six-time 

world champion in three weight Divisions, and for 


several years he was considered the best Pound-for


pound boxer in the world. Chavez came from a poor 


family and became a boxer for money. In Addition, he began boxing as an amateur at the age of 16 and 


then moved to Culiacan to pursue a professional career, he made his Professional debut at age 17. His 


career that spanned over 25 years, Chavez won six world titles in three weight divisions.  Chavez was 


known for his outstanding punching power, devastating body attack, remarkable strong chin and the


relentless stalking of his opponents. Combustion hit to knock them out and only Julio Cesar Chavez 


knew how to do it. Chavez was a professional Mexican boxer that always fought for money and to 


be something in his life. There were many opponents that wanted to knock Julio but he always was p


prepared for anything.
