Unauthorized immigrant is another word for illegal alien. Most people use different words to describe people who don’t belong in the U.S .,who are not citizens. Therefore those who believe in open borders, non-regulation of foreigners entering the U.S, use the words “unauthorized immigrant”. A lot of companies hire people without papers because most of them don’t like their jobs or they’re just lazy.
There’s about 2,600,000 illegal immigrants in the U.S. or even more. What I am trying to say is that many people talk bad about them and want them kicked out of the country. But then who would do the jobs that people don’t like to do? This country is really big, we just all have to learn how live with one another. Even though people lose there jobs because they’re other people who would do it for less, it’s not that persons fault.
The reason why companies hire people without papers is because if something were to happen during the job the company wouldn’t have to pay for anything. Therefore, the people would pay from their pocket. For many years there been many immigrants coming form all over the world, and so far they are still coming to have a better life. Now there is more Latinos in the United States then blacks and white and our population is still growing.
Although most of the students at Bell High School don’t have their papers, they still have high goals and ambitions.  One thing that I think should change is the way that students are treated. They are forced to pay cash or put of pocket for school when they are not natural born citizens of the U.S.  Lastly because of the economy schools have raised the price on books, and things like computers forcing students to pay more.
For all these reasons, immigrants should have more opportunities that will allow them to become contributing members in society. Who knows what they could have been. If given the right education, some could make a difference.

  1. Interesting information Christian. You made some excellent points about the economy and the way students are treated here in the U.S. However, don't forget to cite all your information and give details you think are important. For example, what jobs do they take? How much do they make in comparison to citizens?
