The 68’ Mustang Cobra GT
500-KR
A 68’ mustang Cobra GT 500 KR is the best car anyone
can own. The engine is great because the Cobra GT 500-KR "King
of the Road" debuted; under the hood was a 428 cubic-inch Cobra Jet
V8 which was rated at 335 horsepower. When you feel the engines rumble under
the hood and the roaring of the exhaust you feel like the slogan they came up
for the cobra “King of the Road”. “It looked like a super cool, lean
green machine. The ’68 looked fast even when it was standing” (Jaydol). Jaydol is right you can tell that if you drove
it, it would feel like the car is apart of you. You feel the wind in your hair
and the speed of this majestic vehicle while you are going 65-75 mph on the
highway and you feel great about yourself and your car. Any person that is
going through a hard time can find peace going on a drive in the country with
this car. You feel at ease when you put your foot on the pedal and just go fast
while you think bout your problems.
Another reason why the cobra is
great is because of the body. Its body is so sleek and elegant and with the
right colors, like charcoal grey and black pinstripes, you can make this car
look like it belongs in a museum. Some people may say the cobra looks horrible
and deserves to stay as an old car instead of refurbishing it. “…I hate those freaking cobras: lame”(Scarface).
The cobra looks great with the original rims it has when they are chrome.
Another cool feature that you can add is a nice window tint that’s dark yet
still legal to have in your car that way you wont be stopped by the cops and
receive a ridiculous ticket. With all that and taking good care of this car you
will look at your car and think damn my car looks badass.
