Bj’s Brewhouse Restaurant

Bj’s Brewhouse Restaurant is perfect for social gatherings. It’s always a good choice for family dinners, hosting fundraisers for: school, organizations, or charity. Even if you want to grab a quick bite with friends it’s a good place to stop by. They have many food servings. They’re most known for their pizza and brewery.” When I think of this place, it is all about the pizza. In fact, I'm stuck on it. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet because I can't pass up the chance to have the pizza”(Freddy Johnson).
Although this restaurant has many good reviews not all people think the same way. A blogger on yelp critically reviewed Bj’s as a very disappointing restaurant. Edward wrote, “This used to be a great place but became a huge disappointment tonight when I went in with a number of my relatives. Everyone agreed that the pizza was on the dry side. Also the calamari was overcooked. I am not going back”(Edward Robbinson).
The ambiance at this restaurant is chill and really nice. Everyone is so welcoming when you walk through the doors. Once they have your table ready, you are then escorted by the waiter/waitress that will be attending you. Sometimes you get a good server and sometimes you don’t. It’s hard to say good service is always expected at places like this. The noise level in this restaurant is very average so it allows you to socialize with family or friends. As soon as you walk into this restaurant you get a good vibe with the surrounding.
The atmosphere is filled with fine dining. Dining rooms are flooded with tables and booths that can accommodate smaller or larger groups. They have varieties of sporting events on TV, so you won’t miss a football game, baseball game, hockey game, golf, etc. Vibrant abstract paintings fill the walls giving it a comforting touch. Conversations and laughter fill the air along with the smells of fried food and fresh beer. The lighting in this restaurant is very low. Above every table there is a dimmed chandelier shining not to bright and not to dark, its just perfect. It even has a bar in case you want to have a drink before or after your meal.
The food is so DELICIOUS! They have all kinds of different choices, from soups and salads to appetizers to deserts. The clam chowder soup is to die for. Order your soup in a toasted sour dough bread bowl and it tastes even better. While eating your soup you can pick pieces off the bread bowl and eat it along with your soup. They have sharable appetizers. My personal favorites are the Thai shrimp lettuce wraps and the shareable platters, which include Mozzarella sticks, avocado egg rolls, and Santa Fe Spring rolls. The Thai shrimp lettuce wraps are “BOMB” they’re grilled shrimp glazed with spicy Thai sauce and its all served on a hapa cabbage leaf, with cilantro, carrots, and red onion. Just by reading this makes your mouth water. My favorite part: Desert. The famous Bj’s Pizookie is absolutely delicious. It’s a freshly baked, rich cookie topped with two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream. They have varieties of cookies, so you could definitely choose the kind you personally enjoy.
The first time I went to Bj’s was for my birthday. My godparents took me out to dinner. I can honestly say I left that place stuffed and very happy. And ever since then I’ve been crazy about going to eat there. So if you’re in town and you’re looking for a nice casual place to have lunch or dinner I recommend Bj’s Brewhouse restaurant.
