“Tres Metros Sobre El Cielo”

     This movie is my favorite one because it is romantic and it has action. ‘’H’’, played by Mario Casas, is the ‘’bad guy’’, a reputation he had won since he is a motorcyclist at night and the people that lives around don’t like the way motorcyclists act and how they do their races. He meets Babi, played by Maria Valverde, while she was going to school and they had chemistry the very first instant they see each other, even though she doesn’t admit she likes him. She thinks he is an asshole but at the same time she finds him very attractive. Babi’s best friend gets with another motorcyclist that is friends with ‘’H’’, and that is how Babi encounters ‘’H’’ more often.

     Babi is the ‘’good girl’’, well, that is what her parents think. She was always obligated to be good but she wanted to rebel, she wanted to change, to be out there. She goes to an only-girls private school and they have plenty of rules that she does not want to follow. That is when she starts to hang out with ‘’H’’ and he shows her what adventure and action means.

     The actors in this movie make it look so real, they make you follow the story and you could never get bored. ‘’I seriously fell in love with this movie. It’s such a nice romantic movie but with a sad ending. Not to mention the main actor Mario Casas he is so hot’’(Gabby B). I totally agree with Gabby B, the main actors, especially Mario Casas, are very good looking and really know how to interpret the characters, showing the chemistry they have. Casas actually gives the character the meaning of a motorcyclist because he is in good shape and he shows this sexy look to make it even better.  The casting director made a good choice when he picked the characters. 

     ‘’It is an entertaining movie, but full of clichés in many romantic films. Well, first of all the bad of the movie is a movie that is more like a public dirigid and also female teenager, so some dialogues, advice and actions are noticed very immature and seemingly meaningless. Something bad is that it relies too or is history in simple things and other films of the genre that had not already’’ (Ramirez Corona). I think the movie is really original and it doesn’t compare with any other. The advice and actions in this movie are done accordingly to the audience and they are done so they audience could relate to them.

     In this movie it shows how opposites attract, he is all wild and outgoing and she is all educated and a girl that had always followed the rules. Once they see each other they have a magic click but she wants to deny it, thinking of what everyone would say, especially her parents. But she is also influenced by her friends that always thought motorcyclist are cool and they would say how they envied her because she was chosen by ‘’H’’ to be his girl. He shows her a side of love that she had never seen and he opens up with her so that she could see how he really is. This movie could relate to the teenagers in the world because they all go through that. It shows how a prohibited relationship in between two teenagers could be like in real life.
