Yosemite National Park

To take your mind of things, rest, and enjoy nature the best place to go is Yosemite National Park. In Yosemite national park everywhere you look you see plants, trees, and animals. I was only 3 days there but it felt like I was there for a week.
Right away when we got there I was looking everywhere and thinking what to do, where to go and I really wanted to go to the river, which was supper close. The waterfall, the trees, and the big rocks makes you feel so small. “This planning was wise not just as a way to minimize the footprint in the park but to set up a community in the thick of so much wilderness where just about everyone in the family really does feel comfortable” (Andrea Orr). I agree with her because the experience I had in Yosemite national park was great and I had a great time with my family.
Yosemite national park is awesome they have a museum where you go and read about how old are the trees and about the people that lived there. They do like a ritual were they have this bonfire and they just sing and dance while people watch them. There is also a pool were you can take the little kids.
You have to watch out for the bear because they will eat your food if you don’t put it in the big metal cabinets. Sometimes they make you do noise to scare the bears and other animals.
The days at the river were the best ones. The water was super cold but the combination between the water and the sun were perfect. There are roots from the giant sequoias that you can use to jump off to the water.
There was this time when we were in the river and we saw bear and the rangers from the park were following it. We got a little bit scared. We also got to see a dear that we were going to touch but someone told us to get away from it. “In another incident that same day, a hiker was running down the steep Upper Yosemite Falls Trail and fell, suffering a fatal head injury”(Yosemite National Park Site of Multiple Tragic Accidents This Summer). The park is dangerous if you don’t take the precautions you need for example not to feed the animals and stuff like that.
