Migration to a Successful Life

My father has always tried so hard
Cropping tobacco in the backyard
He left the country for a better life
Until the day he could afford a wife
For twenty five years
He shed so many tears
Raising a family
That is very tough
Living so happily
Making sure we have enough
My father always knew he could
Now I’m the man in this hood
To live out the dreams he never had
And this my friend makes me glad
I will go further throughout my life
Go through it like a sharp knife
Cut through every fear
Grab my gear, and have faith in God
Because the end is near.
