Polluting America

One of the biggest problems in America is pollution. There are all kinds of pollution from air to soil and oceans. Factories have filters for the smock that comes out of the machines which helps but some chemicals still manage to scape in to earth atmosphere.  That’s why there is acid rain.

Acid rain is a rain or any other form of precipitation that is unusually acidic, meaning that it possesses elevated levels of hydrogen ions (low pH). It can have harmful effects on plants, aquatic animals, and infrastructure. Acid rain is caused by emissions of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides which react with the water molecules in the atmosphere to produce acids (Wikipedia).

Animals pay for human pollution. Fishes are killed by the acid rain because it recesses the acidity of the water. Not only that, but fish could mistake trash for food and ends up dying.  Little pieces of plastic with dangerous chemicals are eaten by the small fish which later on end up eaten by bigger fish then people catch them and those chemical end up in your bodies.
